A hands-on workshop on EEG-guided pediatric anesthesia, held at the University of California San Diego on Saturday and Sunday of the American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual Meeting. Open to clinicians from around the world.

About the workshop
PALNET's workshop brings together members and potential PALNET members from North and South America, Europe, and Asia for a half-day of hands-on EEG-guided pediatric anesthesia training, offered in two time slots to help accommodate your schedule.
The training sessions use a video library of EEG from actual cases, and an EEG simulator of pretend cases viewed on the BIS Advance or Sedline device. PALNET teachers lead small-group instruction at the sessions. Each attendee has a table assignment for the sessions, and every attendee leaves with a PALNET certificate documenting their training.

The workshop is led by PALNET teachers:

- C. Dean Kurth, MD — Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
- Julia Galvez Delgado, MD, MBI, FASA — Boston Children's Hospital
- Michael Puglia, MD — C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, Michigan
Agenda — 4 hours
- 1.25 hr — didactic lectures
- 2 hr — hands-on EEG interpretation in small groups of 5–6 with an expert, using an EEG video library of real pediatric cases and an EEG simulator of pretend pediatric cases
- 0.75 hr — catered break
Every participant receives a name badge, a table assignment, and a PALNET education certificate.
